A subnet (short for sub-network) is a smaller part of a larger network. Splitting a big network into smaller ones is called subnetting. All devices in the same subnet share the first part of their IP address, which makes it easier to organize and manage the network.

To create a subnet, do the following actions:

• Click on Networks
• Create a Network
• Give the name of the Network
• Assign an IP block as a Subnet
